From emergency medicine to cognitive behavior, online teaching to early childhood development, food trauma to Sesame Street, working with children requires high-order skills, commitment and knowledge. The outbreak of Covid-19 in the US and around the world underscores these needs even more than usual, which is why we are showcasing careers with children this week.
Based on our research, there are a wide range of options available for PhDs and post-docs across virtually every field and, in particular, research, clinical and policy-related work. There are also child and family-related start-ups that are only now emerging in response to Covid-19.
We provide a few examples below and more jobs uploaded onto our SmartJobs page.
Over the coming weeks and months we will continue to highlight jobs and careers that develop as part of our global pandemic, and how this may shape future opportunities and emerging industries.
There is much work ahead.
